Since its inception in 1980, Make-A-Wish has fulfilled the wishes of more than 300,000 children around the country through its 62 chapters. Each Make-A-Wish chapter must do its own fundraising. There is no national funding or taxpayer money coming in to assist with their expenses. The Orange County chapter started in 1983 by helping a 14-year-old girl facing a life-threatening illness who wanted to visit the Caribbean.

The organization seeks donations and volunteers, and our Rotary Club is thrilled to provide financial support and more.
